Head, Dept. Chemical Engineering
His research interest include pollution control technologies; emissions measurements and modelling; biofuel and biogas production technologies; energy systems and sustainable energy technologies; and water & wastewater treatment technologies. One of his most recent research work involved development of IoT monitor for measuring regional air pollutants (NO2, CO, PM10, PM2.5) and greenhouse gases (CO2, CH4). Currently, he leads a collaborative research project at KNUST with KNMI and TU Delft, Netherlands. The team has established an Air Quality Lab at the department of Chemical Engineering, KNUST and are measuring ground-level NO2 using Palms Diffusion Tubes.
