He holds Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with focus on Aircraft Design. He has a specialty in Fluid mechanics, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and other related subjects. He currently teaches at undergraduate level, fluid mechanics/dynamics, Hydraulics and Pneumatics and at the postgraduate level, Lubrication and wear, and Advanced fluid dynamics. In the past, he taught Technical/Engineering Drawing, Materials Engineering and others. His research interest are in areas of technology development for indigenous systems, Computation fluid dynamics. He has developed a tensile testing machine, Lift-tipping mechanism for tricycle for municipal waste disposal. He is currently developing mechanized kente weaving loom. One of his current research focus is investigation of engineering properties of various natural fibres in Ghana. He has a number of publications in various high impart journals.
