Overview of the Alumni Outstanding Achievement Award:
The KNUST College of Engineering Alumni Outstanding Achievement Award is a prestigious recognition that honours alumni who have demonstrated exceptional accomplishments and leadership in their professional fields. These distinguished individuals have significantly contributed to the engineering industry and have impacted national and global levels. Through their professional achievements, leadership, global influence, and commitment to mentoring, these alumni reflect the core values of excellence that KNUST College of Engineering aims to instil in all its graduates.
Nomination Process:
We invite the KNUST community, industry professionals, and other stakeholders to submit nominations for alumni who exemplify the values of the College through their work and achievements.
Steps for Nomination:
- Submission of Nominations:
Nominations can be made by colleagues, peers, faculty members, or through self-nomination using this [Google Form link]. - Supporting Documents:
Nominations must include:- A detailed account of the nominee’s professional achievements and their impact.
- Evidence of leadership roles and industry contributions.
- Documentation of any awards, recognitions, or honours received.
- A summary of the nominee’s global influence, including international projects or initiatives.
- Testimonials or evidence of mentorship efforts in the engineering field.
- Evaluation:
A panel of judges from the College, industry, and alumni community will evaluate the nominations based on these criteria. - Deadline:
All nominations must be submitted by 18th October 2024. Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered. - Award Announcement:
The awardee will be announced during the Alumni Excellence Awards & Fundraising Dinner on 8th November 2024.

- Alumni Status: Must be a graduate of KNUST College of Engineering.
- Professional Experience: Must have significant professional achievements, leadership, or innovation in their field.
- Impact: Demonstrated influence on national or global engineering advancements.
- Leadership: Proven track record in leadership positions, showcasing their influence in the industry.
- Mentorship: Commitment to mentoring future generations of engineers.
