Job Title: Industrial Liaison Officer

Job Summary
We seek a highly motivated and experienced Liaison Officer to join our College of Engineering team. The successful candidate will be a key interface between the College and external stakeholders, fostering partnerships, collaborations, and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Support student internship recruitment, retention, and placement initiatives
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners, alumni, and external organizations
- Identify opportunities for collaboration, research, and resource sharing
- Coordinate events, meetings, student field trips, and visits to promote the College's interests
- Promote entrepreneurship among students
- Communicate College news, achievements, and research outcomes to external audiences
- Work closely with faculty, staff, and students to advance the College's strategic goals through internships and collaborations
- Build on existing database and communicate with alumni to collaborate on slots for internship placements
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (Communications, Human Resource Management, Social Sciences, or related field)
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a liaison, communications, or industry relations role
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with the engineering industry and higher education sector (desirable)
- Ability to utilize relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, Excel, human resource databases)
