END-OF-YEAR MESSAGE FROM PROVOST, COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

On behalf of the College of Engineering Board and the entire Management, I extend my profound gratitude to faculty members, staff, administrators, students, alumni, and benefactors of the College of Engineering for your immense support and contribution to the growth of the College.

The KNUST College of Engineering (COE), founded in October 1952 has over half a century, maintained a reputation of quality training, and has been at the forefront of preparing manpower to support Ghana and Africa's technological and engineering advancement.

The College has the vision to uplift the quality of engineering education and promote technological advancement in Ghana, Africa, and the world at large.

I am delighted to announce that, the College has launched its Endowment Fund aimed at enhancing the quality of engineering education in Ghana. The fund will provide reliable and stable funding to improve the quality of postgraduate engineering education and research and support entrepreneurship and innovation to create new businesses from engineering research and development. The year 2022 has been a good year for the College and we look forward to your continued commitment and dedication in the coming year, 2023.

Let’s continue our journey together to achieve the vision of making the College the preferred place for quality engineering education and impactful research in Ghana and the sub-region.
