Faculty from the College of Engineering, accompanied by the College Registrar, Mrs. Ida Saheed, visited the IOWA State University of Science and Technology in October 2024 to sign an agreement that allows students pursuing MSc/MPhil degree programs at either ISU or KNUST to be jointly co-supervised by faculty from ISU and KNUST. The degree obtained by the student will, however, be awarded by the host institution.
The departments from both universities that will be part of the program are Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
Other interested departments may be enrolled on the program in due course.
The term of this agreement conforms to the existing MoU between ISU and KNUST and is an addendum to that agreement.
