Samuel Kow Acquah, Acting Director in the Office of the CEO, said GRIDCo’s success over the years is because of the hard work of its workforce, of which 90% are all graduates from KNUST.

“We have always felt that it is expedient to support KNUST, especially the College of Engineering, where most of our staff have their root. This is the reason why we have this strong collaboration. We are working on establishing more collaborative projects in getting the stimulators running, decommissioning some equipment at our stations and making it available to the College for hands-on training. GRIDCO will continue to support KNUST and the College of Engineering,” he intimated.

The GRIDCo team present were: Bismark Anane, Maintenance Manager, Northern Network, Samuel Kow Acqua, Acting Director in the Office of the CEO, Benjamin Kingsford Nti, Director, Northern Network and Ruth Abanga, Officer Responsible for Corporate Social Responsibility.

Prof. Kwaku Amaning Adjei, Dean of the Faculty of Civil and Geoengineering and Prof. Emmanuel Frimpong, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, were also present.
