CoE CROWNED CHAMPIONS OF TEK SMARTEST 2025

 

The College has emerged victorious in the 2025 edition of the prestigious TEK Smartest competition, asserting its intellectual prowess among the six colleges of KNUST.

Scoring an impressive 66.1 points, the CoE team outperformed their peers from the College of Science (55.5 points), College of Humanities and Social Sciences (54.7), College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (53.8), College of Health Sciences (52.6), and the College of Art and Built Environment (38.8).

This year’s winning team was made up of three first-year students: Emmanuel Nana Kofi Oppong (Computer Engineering), Essuman Abeiku Humphrey (Biomedical Engineering), and Nana Oppong Yeboah (Petrochemical Engineering).

The competition, held during E-Learning Week ’25, tested participants across a wide range of topics, including science, technology, current affairs, and logical reasoning. The team distinguished itself from start to finish, earning admiration from the university community and bringing pride to the College.

Their success stands as a testament to the quality of students the College continues to nurture and the vibrant academic spirit within the engineering community.
