Kelvin Worlanyo Tamakloe, from the Electrical and Electronics Department, was adjudged the overall best student and Valedictorian with a commendable CWA of 84.72.

In his address, he reminisced about a profound experience he shared with colleagues during his four-year journey at the University. Their collective contributions significantly shaped his success, epitomising the essence of collaboration among diverse individuals.

“As we are poised to step into a continually evolving world, I see within this gathering not merely graduates, but bearers of change, innovators, and most importantly, individuals who are destined to influence the coming decades significantly.”

He spoke about the essence of friendships.

“One of the profound lessons I’ve learnt during my time here is the intrinsic value of relationships; to me, the essence of friendship reflects the character of God—a boundless source of love, understanding, and support. We often find that the insights and creative sparks from others illuminate our paths and enrich our understanding even more than we realise. Therefore, I encourage you to surround yourself with individuals who challenge, inspire, and reflect this divine standard of friendship; their presence will fill your life with growth and joy.”

He reminisced how an unforeseen hiccup left him without a laptop in his third year. However, his friends, Stacy, Marsha, and Esther, stepped in to assist him during this challenging time. Marsha's gift still blesses him to this day. His humorous remark elicited laughter from the audience as he quipped, "Don't worry, Marsha, you'll get your laptop back today!"

He also honoured his parents, who were present at the Congregation, by asking them to rise to show his appreciation to them.
