In a world where the future is built on the ambitions and dreams of today’s youth, George Nana Adu Darko emerges as a true symbol of leadership and determination. He is the President of the Ghana Engineering Students’ Association (GESA-KNUST) and the College Caucus Head for the 16th KNUST SRC Parliamentary Council. He has undertaken roles with purpose and a vision for progress.

George’s leadership journey began during his tenure as the President of the Chemical Engineering Students’ Association and later as the Interim President of the Faculty of Mechanical and Chemical Engineering. These early roles refined his leadership skills and positioned him as a reliable student advocate. His exceptional dedication and efforts culminated in a historic victory during the 2024/25 GESA elections, where he secured the highest vote margin ever recorded. This landmark achievement underscores his peers' trust and confidence in his leadership.

Beyond his titles, George’s impact resonates through his practical contributions to education and skill development. As the founder of Gad Academy, he has transformed the lives of countless students in STEM fields by providing training in Python programming, software development, and graphic design. His initiative equips young individuals with the tools to excel in an increasingly technology-driven world.

George’s vision for the College of Engineering is ambitious yet clear: to position GESA as the epicentre of innovation, growth, and positive change in Ghana. Through his transformative leadership, he is driving collaboration, creating opportunities, and ensuring that the association becomes a leading force in engineering and technological advancements in the country.
