Kobi Ampem Afriyie is the trailblazing student leader taking the tech world by storm! As a second-year Computer Engineering student at KNUST, Kobi has already significantly impacted her academic and extracurricular pursuits. Born and bred in Ghana, Kobi's leadership journey has been remarkable. She's faced her fair share of challenges, from balancing academics with leadership roles to navigating complex team dynamics. However, Kobi has consistently risen above these challenges with her determination, resilience, and strong support system.
Kobi's leadership skills are evident in her numerous roles, which she's assumed progressively. She's been Robotics President, where she developed her technical leadership skills, STEM President, where she expanded her scope of influence, Head Girl and subsequently SRC President, showcasing her exceptional leadership abilities. Currently, she serves as WinE-KNUST General Secretary, Deputy PRO (AKATASLOPSA-KNUST), Academic Board Head (Office of GESA WoCom), and Students' Union Financial Secretary.
Beyond her leadership roles, Kobi has also firmly committed to giving back to her community. She has engaged in numerous volunteer activities, focusing on teaching robotics to students in different schools. She has taught robotics to students in 12 schools, inspiring and empowering the next generation of tech leaders.
