College of Engineering Collaborates with George Washington University

 

Prof. Ekundayo Shittu and Mr. Jojo Chartei Quansah, Regional Director for Seed Global Education, George Washington University, visited the management of the College of Engineering on Wednesday, 27th March 2024, to discuss areas of mutual collaboration, student and staff exchanges and complementary research interests.
The George Washington University is a global, comprehensive research institution and a member of the Association of American Universities (AAU). Their faculty and students carry out cutting-edge research and scholarship in diverse fields. They partner with community-based organisations, city leaders, industry and academic peers in the United States of America and around the world to investigate some of the world’s most complex challenges, including climate change, infectious diseases, education and health equity, trustworthy AI, gender-based violence, disinformation, cancer, financial literacy and more.

There will be a follow-up meeting to discuss a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the interest of both Universities.
