The Faculty of Mechanical and Chemical Engineering hosted three faculty members from Concordia University between 28th and 31st July. The primary objective of the visit was to foster collaborations between KNUST and Concordia University to enhance academic and research partnerships.
During the visit, the Concordia delegation engaged in fruitful discussions with the College's Provost, the Faculty's Dean, Senior Members, National Service Personnel (NSPs), and final-year students. These discussions were pivotal in identifying areas of mutual interest and potential collaborations. Faculty members from KNUST and Concordia shared insights on their respective areas of research and educational methodologies, setting the stage for future collaborations.
The meeting emphasised the commitment of both institutions to leveraging their strengths and resources to achieve academic excellence. The interactive session with National Service Personnel (NSPs) and students focused on presenting graduate school opportunities at Concordia University, highlighting various programmes, scholarship opportunities, and the vibrant academic community in Canada. This interaction inspired the students and strengthened the relationship between the two institutions, promising fruitful and enduring collaborations in the future.
