The Faculty of Mechanical and Chemical Engineering Students’ Association (FMCESA), hosted its dinner and awards night dubbed, “Nuit de Lumieres” (Night of Lights), on Thursday, August 7th, 2025, at the KNUST Community Centre. Themed “Whispers & Wine,” the event provided a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere where students connected, networked, and celebrated the vibrant FMCESA community.
The evening was graced by distinguished guests, including Prof. Joseph Oppong Akowuah, Head of the Department of Agricultural Engineering, who delivered an inspiring address. A symbolic highlight of the night was the cutting of a beautifully decorated cake bearing the FMCESA logo, signifying unity and a bright future for the association.
The success of “Nuit de Lumieres” was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the FMCESA executives, whose attention to detail ensured a seamless and memorable event.
