On May 30th, 2024, Dirk Aßmann, the Country Director of GIZ Ghana, and his team visited the Industrial Automation Laboratory at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering to evaluate how the facility provides seamless automation and industrial control training for students and industry professionals.

During the visit, the GIZ Ghana team, led by Professor Emmanuel A. Frimpong, the Head of the Department, engaged in meaningful interactions with the students. The team toured the lab, where students expressed appreciation for the state-of-the-art workstations and equipment GIZ Ghana and Siemens provided. They highlighted how the practical sessions in the lab have significantly enhanced their knowledge and skills, which they intend to apply in their future careers.
