Meet Mr Oheneba Kwaku Owusu

 

Oheneba Kwaku Owusu, a third year Chemical Engineering student is the Vice President–Elect of the Ghana Engineering Students’ Association (GESA) and the appointed President of the West African Institute of Mining, Metallurgy, and Petroleum (WAIMM) student chapter. His leadership journey is rooted in dedication and service, having previously served as the Deputy Programs Head in the past GESA administration.

Recognized for his excellent communication skills and ability to connect with people, Oheneba has consistently demonstrated a passion for teamwork, growth, and effective leadership. Beyond his academic and leadership commitments, he finds balance in his love for sports, particularly playing football, which reflects his team spirit and resilience.

Oheneba was the mastermind behind the annual Engineering Hangout which was dubbed “Euphoria” which saw A-LIST artiste Beeztrap KOTM perform. He also helped GESA Organize a program for the freshers in the college called “PULSE AND PLAY”.

A man of faith and discipline, Oheneba is a proud Presbyterian and he was a chapel prefect in PREMPEH COLLEGE, whose values influence his approach to leadership and service. With his blend of experience, skill, and character, he continues to inspire his peers and set an example of committed student leadership.
