Prof. Nyarko highlighted the primary objectives of the fund, which include improving the quality of postgraduate programs, expanding access to these programs, providing scholarships to attract brilliant students, and enhancing infrastructure to support teaching and learning. He emphasised that this initiative is not just about the present but also about securing the future of Ghana.

“By retaining the country's top engineering graduates, the initiative aims to prevent brain drain to countries like the USA, Europe, and Asia, which offer attractive scholarships. This long-term commitment is crucial for addressing developmental challenges in manufacturing, industrialisation, energy systems, exploration, and renewable energy. Contributing to the fund supports these goals and provides hope to countless students aspiring to advance their postgraduate education and achieve their dreams”, he asserted. Prof. Nyarko reiterated that the fund is crucial in advancing engineering excellence and societal development.
