Up Close with Madam Grace Antwiwaa Asare-Nkansah, Secretary to the Provost

I am Madam Grace Antwiwaa Asare-Nkansah, and I am excited to share my journey as a dedicated administrative professional with a deep passion for helping others. With a strong educational background in Management Studies and Business Administration, I have established myself as a valuable asset to the College of Engineering. My journey in administration began as a Customer Service Representative at Vodafone Ghana (now Telecel). Later, I joined the University as a Senior Administrative Assistant, where I have continued to grow and develop my skills. My love for humanity and commitment to personal growth inspired me to pursue an additional Master’s degree in Human Resource Strategy, which I am set to complete in March 2025.

I believe that strong relationships and continuous learning are the foundation of effective administration. I actively seek feedback to improve my performance and embrace new experiences that contribute to my professional growth. Despite my busy schedule, I prioritise self-care, knowing that a healthy work-life balance is key to sustained success.

As a mentor and role model, I encourage young professionals to be open to learning, commit to self-development, and embrace a spirit of service.
