In a heartwarming ceremony held on 8th April 2025 in her office, the administrative staff of the College of Engineering presented a special citation of honour to the College Registrar, Mrs Ida Saeed, in recognition of her exceptional leadership, mentorship and unwavering commitment to staff development and teamwork.
The event was marked by gratitude from colleagues who highlighted Mrs. Saeed’s inspiring role in creating a positive and supportive work environment. Her strategic guidance and dedication to professional excellence have profoundly impacted both junior and senior staff within the College.
Speaking on behalf of the team, Mr. Emmanuel Kofi Adjei, Assistant Registrar, Faculty of Civil and Geo-Engineering, praised Mrs. Saeed for her “open-door policy, integrity, and remarkable ability to bring out the best in others.” The citation commended her for being a leader, mentor, and beacon of encouragement to all.
Mrs. Saeed, visibly touched by the gesture, expressed her appreciation and reaffirmed her commitment to supporting the College’s mission. “This honour means a lot to me,” she said. “It’s a reminder that leadership is not just about direction but effective mentorship.
